Uninsured
If the package is lost or damaged during transport because of the shipping companys handling (according to their service conditions) PostNord"s liability for lost, reduced or damaged International Parcels is, according to the Universal Postal Union treaty, limited to 40 SDR per shipment + 4.50 SDR per kilogram of the gross weight of the goods, in the event of reduction or damage, however, not more than the amount corresponding to the decrease in value.
1 SDR = approximately 10 SEK.
SDR = Special Drawing Rights and is a fictitious currency, a mix between dollars, euros, Japanese yen and pounds.
Insured
If the package is lost or damaged during transport because of the shipping companys handling (according to their service conditions) the refund is set to full order value up to 25 000 SEK. The insurance premium is stated below.
